That Chance

Because I know you’re out there, waiting for me as well. :)

To my dream guy:

Every girl wants their own prince to come along.
Some princes have been there all along, beside their princesses,
some girls would have to wait for awhile,
some girls just don’t wait. Instead, they give themselves to Him.

But if I were given the chance that he would come right along, this is what I could only wish for:

He will be there for me.
He will be the streak of light in times of my darkness.
He will hold my hand.
His smile will be like of a cherub’s.
He will be the one to calm me down on times of rage and anger.
He will be the shoulder I’ll lean on, with a decent reason or none at all.
He will have those zealous eyes, when he does his passion.

He may show his vulnerabilities through tears. As so, I’ll gladly accept him in my arms.

He will love me for who I am.
He will treat me with respect.
He will sit beside me.
He will do anything, just to be with me.

But if time requires that we be apart, he will be the one to reach out to hear my voice,
even just for a single message.

He will be the missing piece of my unpredictable puzzle of life.
He may not compliment me always, but when he does, it will be sincere and beautiful.
He will be my hope amidst all tragedy.
He will bring me closer to God.
He will show me the true beauty of this world.
He will be the one to embrace me.
He will challenge me to go further.
He will transform me to a better person.
He will take care of me.
He will be my shield.
He will be the cure to my pessimism.

He will be there, just for me.

Track Review #1 – Foster the People

Heya guys, there’s  going to be a new part in my blog.  And namely, it’s  Track Review Time!  In this part of the blog, I would be featuring one of my favorite music artists, my favorite song of theirs, duly accompanied with lyrics, some information and lastly, my own review of their song!

And so, today’s track review will be a track Foster the People’s from Torches, I Would Do Anything For You.

Lyrics (from http://www.azlyrics.com):

“I Would Do Anything For You”

Never wanna stand up for myself

Never wanna get in the way, I said it
I don’t know what the plan is,
But you can share with me, ‘cause I’ll
Be listening here,
To everything you say, I won’t turn away
And I will listen, open up my heart and
I must say that I love you, so

Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than ever before
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than I’ve ever known

Every day is a battle I face
Strange life i live but its what you’ve decided
I’ll give it all into your hands,
Do what you will with me, and oh
I’ll smile when you speak
Remember all those times I was hoping for something
And shaking my head from all I have done
But you never left me

Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than ever before
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than I’ve ever known
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than ever before
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than I’ve ever known

Give it up for you, I would give it up for you
I would give it up for you, I’d do anything for you

Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than ever before
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than I’ve ever known
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than ever before
Oo la love, I’ve fallen in love, and it’s better this time than I’ve ever known

I have fallen in love
I have fallen in love
I have fallen in love

Sorry about the video above. You see, unlike Pumped Up Kicks or Call It What You Want, this song from the album is yet to be a single. But boy, do I hope that they make this into a single! Just from the beat and the lyrics of the song itself, it IS worthy of being left imprinted into the minds of today’s generation for their music choice. The song still has no official music video. And I do hope as well they shoot for one soon. This song is just too lovely!
I love the song’s beat and lyrics, especially the part ‘cause I’ll Be listening here, To everything you say, I won’t turn away And I will listen, open up my heart and I must say that I love you.’ It just sounds so sweet and so romantic and cheesy that it really makes me really listen throughout the song! And to me, it’s like the perfect infatuation song. The song just says about being in the state of being in love or infatuated with your special someone! ♥ ♥ ♥
So, for me, this song absolutely deserves a 10 out of 10! And if you noticed, this song has been long part of my playlist (you can see it for yourselves here!)), either when I’m doing my art things (writing and drawing) or just being on the go! You should really check out the band’s songs because they don’t sound too mainstream and not much of “double” and “hidden” meanings on the lyrics (well, on most songs of the album Torches.) Although the band is quite notorious on Pumped Up Kicks’ lyrics, I really don’t mind the unforgettable beat the song brings into my mind… Foster the People rock! And boy, I recently learned that they’re going here to Manila, Philippines!  Q _ Q It made me want to cry my guts out, since I don’t have enough cash to buy a ticket to watch their show here! Gosh, on October six! I can’t wait, even just to watch them on the news, that they’re arriving here in the country… So excited~~

So then, that’s the end of today’s Track Review. Tell me about your take on Foster the People and the featured track, I Would Do Anything For You. I’ll be waiting! ;)

The Locator

Have you recently lost a precious object? It doesn’t really matter, whether if its a 24-carat diamond, or just that trinket your fourth grade best friend gave to you. Why am I even asking this in the first place? It’s because having to find a lost object is part of my dream ability. It’s no biggie, really. All I just want to be able to locate where an object is, especially on dire times. I just hate the feeling when I misplace a very important object, and I need the object right away, and I have to spend a great deal of time just for searching the little thing. The feeling really ticks me off. And since it’s just a super power I’d like to have, it would be great if I could help other people find their missing objects… And oh the feeling of being able to help others! That feeling is the best! That would be great, yes indeed.

How would it even go in the first place? Well here’s how my wild imagination goes with my dream super power.

Well, so here I am looking for my misplaced object, and let’s name this object, Timmy. All I need to have is a memory of Timmy. So within that memory is Timmy himself; the color, the texture, the shape, where he’s been last seen… everything about Timmy! And after Timmy’s form has been registered in my mind, I would have that inclination to find Timmy immediately, to be able to go to his current location right away. I will go the distance just to reach Timmy. I will not stop until I locate him.

And after doing this finding thing for awhile, I would be called The Locator. All right, it sounds so cool and bad-ass reputation thing. Hahaha. Oh my imagination is killing me!

Let’s say Taylor is looking for her notebook, and she doesn’t know who took it and she wants it to be found. So all she has to do is to pass the memory of the missing notebook to me and then my brain will work out the details on what the notebook looks like, where the notebook is, and I will be able to locate it and give the notebook back to her!

Well, wouldn’t it be very cool to be able to locate a missing object right away? Wouldn’t it? Right?

I won’t do it for money, if you’d ask me. But if it’s something really valuable, like the stolen crown jewel of the king of some unknown country, maybe that’d be the part where I’d ask for servicing fees. Haha.

But its just an imaginary super power I’d like to have. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll really get the ability.

How about you, what’s the super power you’d like to have?
